A customized software (Q-Ware©) supports automatic live treatment data capturing, recording, and analysis. The acquired data includes 3D applied force magnitudes and angles in 3-axes, stroke count and frequency, stroke patterns and duration, and total treatment time.

QSTM is a mechatronic data requisition-based smart medical device system, with sensory nodes – 3D Load cell(s) and an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) motion sensor, developed to characterize STM examination and treatment dosing with quantified parameters. A customized software (Q-Ware©) supports automatic live treatment data capturing, recording, and analysis. The acquired data includes 3D applied force magnitudes and angles in 3-axes, stroke count and frequency, stroke patterns and duration, and total treatment time. The QSTM™ system has a graphical visualization interface (GVI) to provide real-time feedback. It also enables the user to set a “target force” as a visual guide for precise force application. Moreover, the QSTM™ system stores treatment data in a patient record system (PRS).
